Merry Christmas.... in our new home!

So we got our house! And we are just steps away from closing! We are pretty excited about it. We even have people already waiting to move into our town house as of yesterday. Luckily they are in no rush to come move in so we have some time to get our stuff out. We are hoping to be able to move in the first or second week in January. So that is our Christmas present for this year. I hope everyone has a good Christmas! We are going to go visit my parents on Christmas Eve and then visit Keith’s parents on Christmas day (weather permitting). If it is too snowy then on Christmas night we will be hanging out with Fred and Sara!

Then this weekend Keith and I are doing a short “getaway” since we don’t see each other very often with work and school (up until the 18th of this month,)yes I finally graduated!!! YAY! I can now give some awesome massages to people! So if you need one you know where to go. But anyways we are going to stay in a nice hotel in Salt Lake and and go to a nice dinner and just relax and spend some time with each other. We are both getting anxious to move so we need something to get our minds off of that too!

So in addition to our house we also got a cute little kitten and named him Chip. He is a gray and white tabby and is full of energy and is a real people kitty. He is staying at my parents house until we move in because we cant have him where we are right now. Things are coming together really well for us right now and we are so grateful for it. Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a great holiday!!

Christmas Time!

So we have been having fun decorating our place with Christmas decorations! We have our tree put up but are still working on decorating it with the lack of time we have. Keith suprised me one day as I was coming home from school to see that we had decorations on the outside around our door! I thought it was our neighbors and it was nice when I got closer and saw it was ours! It is so fun to see all the lights this time of year. The best feeling is drinking hot chocolate and looking at lights and listening to christmas music. It is just fun!

Keith and I are getting closer to getting a house. We found one and put in an offer for it now we just need to find out if it will be accepted. http://homesite.obeo.com/viewer/unbranded.aspx?tourid=503587&refURL=WFRMLS.com&locale=en-US Here is the website to view the house we are wanting to get. The price is lower than it says though...

Yesterday I went and visited Kate and hung out with her and her cute baby girl Kiley. She is so cute and looks just like Kate and Mike. Here is a picture of her.

Life is busy, sorry!

Hey ok so I am not so good at the whole "every saturday write a new blog post" thing. So I wont make any more promises on when I will do it. It will be more frequent when I am out of school (December 18th) though. YAY for no more school!!! So what has been happening... let's see... about two weeks ago (Friday, November 21st) Sara and Amanda and her sister Sara and I went to go see the much anticipated Twilight!! We started out the night going to an indian food restaurant and I had never had indian food so it was quite an experience. But it was really good. I will include some pictures. Then off to Twilight! We didnt have to wait in any lines since we had reserved seating. It was pretty good for a lower budget film and followed the book pretty well for the most part. I liked it so much I saw it again that next tuesday with my sisters and mom. I am curious to see how the second one turns out. My sister Brittany just got back from Ireland and it was fun to see her again. She brought a cute kitty with her named George.

Oh and we are decorating for christmas!! I love christmas time. It is fun to see all the lights and the cozy atmosphere is great! We got a new christmas tree since the one I did have I have had since I was like 12. So we were in need of an upgrade. It is prelit so that was convienient. Oh and Brittany and I braved the day after thanksgiving early morning shopping. We figured we have to try it once, and well, I dont think I would do it again. But I got a Kitchen Aid mixer for 100 dollars less so that was nice. I think people are crazy to do it every year! But kudos to them for it.

Oh and P.S. we might buy a house in kaysville, but we are still working on the details... more to come....

Deer Hunt, Keith's mom's birthday...updates

Hey sorry it has taken so long to update the blog. We are still as busy as ever. Well since the last one I have gone to Oregon which was a blast to see Kate. We had a lot of fun. We even went to the pumkin patch that was run by the family on that show "Little people big world". Then we had a fun family weekend the weekend of the deer hunt. Frank and Amy and Fred and Sara and Steven and Maryanne were there and Keith's dad. It was really cold! But it was good times when Sara and I went on the four wheeler and only went in 1st gear and 15 miles and hour max. Yeah, obviously we dont know how to run a four wheeler. Oh well it was probably good that we didnt go so fast. We had a surprise party for Keith's mom for her 60th birthday. All but one brother was there so it was a blast to see everyone get together. Here are some pictures from that. We had a great dinner and they played a movie with pictures of her and her family from her teenage years until now. Then all of her kids stood up and talked about memories of her. It was really touching. The one thing that everyone said was how kind she was and she was always there for them. It made me want to cry.
Well now for the most recent update. We are still working and going to school. I graduate in 7 weeks! December 18th, yay! Keith is working on starting his own eBay selling business on the side for some extra savings and he is really enjoying that. He is trying to get out on his own and be his own boss and I think that is great.
Brittany is coming home from Ireland for thanksgiving so everyone is excited to see her. My parents are actually trying to go over there to pick her up and see what she has been doing since July. I am excited for the Twilight movie to come out. Sara and I are going to try to go to the midnight showing, if anyone wants to come with us let us know!!! It will be fun.
So my plan is to update the blog every Saturday (since that is when I have time to)... so if you want to see whats going on check then...

Fun stuff going on

Two weekends ago Jen came to our place and held a Lia Sophia Jewelry party. It was alot of fun! More people came then I was expecting so it was kind of crazy cramming people into my livingroom (town houses are not that big, lol). But it was fun to have everyone there. I got some really cute jewelry too!! Then last weekend I went and got my haircut from Jen and it turned out awesome! I love having my layers back. Thanks jen!
Next week I am going with a bunch of friends from work to Park City to have a girl's overnighter so is something to look forward too. Maybe I will bring my camera and post some pictures from it later.
Keith's birthday is coming up! (the 26th) We dont know what we are going to do for it yet but for sure he will be getting his cheesecake that he loves for his birthday cake. He never asks for anything else.
Fun things going on this month for sure. And the holidays are just around the corner! Exciting!!!

The Cabin

This last weekend we went to Sara's family cabin with Fred and Sara. That was so much fun! We pretty much just played games and ate a lot of junk food. I think Fred's new favorite game is jungle speed. Keith and Fred got really into it and was kind of freaking out Sara and I thinking we were going to get hurt! It was crazy how intense it got! But it was really fun, a good getaway for the weekend. Too bad that they are going to sell the cabin soon... there was some good times there for sure.
Oh and I found this cool website www.blurb.com that you can make your blogs with all your pictures into a cool book that you can buy ( I think the cheapest is like 12.95, but they arent badly priced). It is a good idea for you all that have been diligent with your blog and pictures...dani, amy, etc. Anyways, just a thought.

Just starting out

Hey everyone! We have recently been noticing that we need to get on board with the "blogspot" thing to keep in touch with everyone. So here is ours! It is still in the works but hopefully soon we will have more to put on it. But hello to everyone and we will keep you updated as much as possible.
As for what has been going on lately:
We are both still working and going to school. Keith is working at a shoe store in Kaysville called Finest Footwear and he is having a good time there managing various things there. He is finishing his associates at Weber and will be continuing to get a bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture/Drafting. I am still working at Barnes Bank in Kaysville and keeping pretty busy doing that. Then I go to school for Massage Therapy and will be done in December this year. So if anyone needs a good massage you know where to go...lol. I have been having a few medical problems but it looks like its almost over, thank goodness.
Things are sure busy but we would still love to hear from everyone! Hope things are going well.
